Matthew B. Balasco, DDS MS
Dr. Matthew Balasco spent ten years at The Ohio State University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology with honors. During his undergraduate studies, he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He then continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following dental school, he completed a residency in advanced endodontics at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. During residency, he earned a Master of Science degree for completing a thesis studying dental anesthetics. The results of this study were published in The Journal of Endodontics.
Dr. Balasco is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Ohio Association of Endodontists, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, and the Hocking Valley Dental Society. He frequently takes continuing education courses in order to provide his patients with the most current care.
When he is out of the office, Dr. Balasco enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenny. He also loves sports, travel, fitness, and cooking.
